Salary is different pay components like
Basic,DA,HRA,Conveyence Allowances,Medical allowamces & etc.
The Sum total of all the Pay components is Gross Salary.
Percentage of the component is User Defined. Ex: Typically
30 - 50 % of gross Salary is Basic.
ESI is caliculated on Gross Salary(Less than 15000 per
Month)
PF is calculatd on Basic Salary.
Employer Contrubution is not included in the Gross Salary.

there is no exact limit for Basic Salary. It May be either
30%,40% or 50%. And the Same rule applies for DA, Allowance.
They might be 30% and 20% respectively.
1)ESIC Eligibility Should be upto 10000/-(Total Salary). If
exceed, He is not eligible for ESI. % of ESI = 6.5
ESI Employee Contribution 1.75
ESI Employer Contribution 4.75
2)PF eligibility Upto 6500/- (on Basic Salary). %PF = 24
PF Employee contribution =12% (8.33% EPF and 3.67 EPS)
PF Employer contribution =12%
