Tally is meant for small and mid size industry , multiple
location facility is not so good as far as taly is
conserned.
Tally is mostly considered only for indian statutary
standards and where as currency conversion is a issue
database is not strong enough to work with a big network
frequent data corruption will be seen one way if we see
tally is not at all a erp .
it is an accounting software

Tally and SAP both are accounting software ,but Tally can works in only one module accounting,and SAP works in 78 modules like ,
MM ( Material management)
SD ( sales and Distributions)
PP ( Product and Planing)etc..

Tally mainly use in small scal industries.Tally accounting point of view suporting small companyes tally main draw back not possible to transfer vender and customer information text year. SAP FI/CO it mainly use big industries and hear posible veder and customer information next year as well
