Stress, volume, Load testing are very close and still well
apart.
Load Testing: Doing testing under heavy loads is called load
testing. The main objective of this testing is to record the
behaviour of the software under heavy loads. These loads are
with the limits of support of the software.
Volume Testing: This is very isolated kind of testing and
can not apply for all kinds of software. The main objective
of this testing is to test software in different volumes of
data.
Stress Testing: The main objective of this testing is, how
a software behaves after the threshold limit. That means
software should not behave wired in terms of security and
data integrity even after the threshold levels.
