Two cars travel in the same direction at 40km/hr at a regular distance. A car comes in the opposite..

Answer / indranil datta

The Car coming from opposite direction at 60KM/hr speed can
travel (60x8x1000)/3600=133.33 m in 8 secs
The car travelling at 40Km/hr speed can travel
(40*8*1000)/3600=88.88 m in 8 secs.
So the distance between 2 cars is (133.33+88.88)=222.21 m

Two cars travel in the same direction at 40km/hr at a regular distance. A car comes in the opposite..

Answer / thangamurugan

They are asking only the distance of separation of the two
cars(40km/hr).
opposite car(60km/hr) meets 8sec interval.
so,we need to calculate how much distance the opposite car
travels in 8 sec.
i.e., distance= (60/3600)*8=0.13333km
=133.33m (ans)
