The Car coming from opposite direction at 60KM/hr speed can
travel (60x8x1000)/3600=133.33 m in 8 secs
The car travelling at 40Km/hr speed can travel
(40*8*1000)/3600=88.88 m in 8 secs.
So the distance between 2 cars is (133.33+88.88)=222.21 m

speed = dist/time
two cars speed is 60+40=100km/hr(adding due to opposite direction)
should convert to m/s i.e 5/18
100*5/18=speed
time =8sec
by formula
dist= speed*time
100*5/18*8=223m
ans is 223

Answer / thangamurugan
They are asking only the distance of separation of the two
cars(40km/hr).
opposite car(60km/hr) meets 8sec interval.
so,we need to calculate how much distance the opposite car
travels in 8 sec.
i.e., distance= (60/3600)*8=0.13333km
=133.33m (ans)
