what is transpiration?..

Answer / anithaisro

Transpiration is the process of water being taken into and
evaporating from plants. It evaporates through pores,
called stomata, in the leaf. The water comes from moisture
from the soil. This water brings up dissolved minerals from
the soil.It also helps keep the plant moist.
