Peculiarity of polyunsatureted fatty acids is presence of
non conjugated double bond system.it has methylene group
linked by double bonds on both sides as in linolenic acid.
In it methylene group is not found in between the double
bonds .

if there are ester and aldehyde substituents on the pyridine ring . how I can oxidized the aldehyde substituent to carboxylic acid ? please help me
