Question { Mylan, 159918 }

what is the diffirence between deviation and change control?
at what situations we can raise the deviation and change
control

Answer

Change control :is a planned deviation when any abnormality or inaccurate observed in the sop, stp ,process, method
fallowing can be addressed by change control process
EX:if ay chemist found that instead of ml printed as g
or
if any chemist observed that indicator in assay in the sop is methyl red instead of methyl orange

Deviation : is a unplanned activity when as activity was performed with out fallowing the approved document (Departure from an approved document)
fallowing can be addressed by deviation
Ex:if a analyst done the analysis by taking 1 g sample instead of 2 g
or
if a analyst selected a wrong method for the analysis of sample

Why sulpuric acid only used to ROI but not used nitric acid
and some other acids?

Answer

H2so4 . Will
convert the all
inorganic
nonvolatiles in to
their sulphates .
Sulphates are more
stable at the
specified
temporature in ROI
test the other
acids .

what is differance between volatile and non volatile
compound expalin by exaple

Answer

volatile compounds
are those which
will get evaporate
at room temperature
and may form
ignition mixture to
catch fire.
Nonvolatile
compound are not
get evaporated at
room temperature .
All the organic
solvents are
volatile
compounds .
Sulphates and
metals are non
volatile compounds

Question { Ranbaxy, 48278 }

whate is difference between calibration and validation

Answer

will calibratin only for instruments ,. but we can perform
validation not only for instuments for method allso,,..
calibratiom = checking the instrument with standards
validation = validating the existing method or instrument

Is This Answer Correct ?    13 Yes 0 No

Question { Ranbaxy, 48278 }

whate is difference between calibration and validation

Answer

calibration:is to check instrument working condition with standards

validation: is to make shore that instrument and methods and processare consistently producing repeatable results as per in house requirement .

calibration gives assurance about only instrument but validation gives assurance about method, and process and man instruments

Question { Ranbaxy, 14064 }

what is the difference between loss on drying in ordinary
oven technique and vacuum oven technique

Answer

if the sample melting temperature is less than the boiling point of the solvents used in the manufacturing process then vacuum oven is preferred with out effecting the sample we get lod if not normal oven preferred

Question { AlpaMed, 28686 }

What is the difference between STANDARDIZATION and CALIBRATION of instrument like KF? why do we standardization of KF everyday? Why the KF factor being only 5.02 etc?

Answer

Calibration is related to instrument
Stantardisation is related to the solution

In calibration we check the instrument performance wether working or not by using the standards
1 ml of kf reagent is required to neutralise 5 mg of water so the kf strength is near 5 mg/ml

Actually the kf reagent consist of so2 and I so I present in kf is not stable so we need to check the solution strength daily morning or when ever kf solution is changed
