length but why in case of one way slab main steel is
provided along shorter span while as bending takes place
along longer span?comment

Answer

Benduing moment in any direction is proportional to the
curvature. Now the central deflection of slab in both the
direction is same. Since the length in the shorter
direction is less than other so curvature(1/R) value is
much in the shorter direction.So the BM is much in shorter
direction,requiring to provide reinforcement in shorter
direction.

Answer

In the code specified ratio there is no any consideration
of workebility, which in one of the mandetory aspects to be
considered. But by mix design we can design the concrete of
required workebility without sacrificing the strength.

concrete of grade M100 is already in practice and
ingradient is mainly flyash + some other
admixture..........highly heat resistive.

Much moment of inertia obviously a point. I-section is a
symetric section so there is no any unsymetric dendinc for
symetric loading.....i.e no required to know the location
of sheat centre.
