let the present age be x
so
after 20 yrs it will be 20+x
and as said it will be 5 times the present age i,e 5x
so 20+x = 5x
x=5

well let the present age of the baby be x.
according to the given condition, x+20=5x.
solving the above equation, we have
x+20=5x
20=5x-x
20=4x
x=20/4
x=5
so... the present age of the baby is five years....
