hey nothing to worry about it, just shake the solution and
if it contain protein you will see foam formation...
i don't think so that there is need to perform PAGE,
Biurette tests or to analyse it spectrometrically... why yo
waste time and money

proteins can also be separated electrophoretically by sds-
page and we can confirm the presence of protein by western
blotting

just add salts like ammonium sulphate or Nacl or solutions
like TCA or cold Acetone which precipitate the protein and
you see the precipitate if protein present in
solution,..........................
