Answer / rishop
hi bala,
B1 visa is not at all complicated and pls follow the below
process & you dont need any work exp to show off,
1. first get a strong invitation letter from your usa client.
2. prepare all the necessary docs from your working company
to the consulate and just keep in hand while interview.
3. most IMPOrtant at the interview is just behave like a
business man and answer very crisp to the counselor
questions and if you are sharp on his first few questions
and defititely there is no necessity for him to even check
your docs. you will grant a visa. BUT if you deliver
unnecessary additional answers and if you show up very keen
to obtain visa by your words or body language then
definitely lots of chances there to deny your application.
4. always ask for multiple entry visa for the possible
lengthiest period since now a day B1 visas are given as
b1/b2visas for the priod of 10yrs.
5. it is very successful if you get visa without annotation.

Hi, I am working for AllState India since from 1.8 years(Overall 4.8 years of experience) and I had applied for B1 visa during Jan-2014 and it got rejected coz of 214(b) section.I would like to brief about the questions that are asked during my interview. 1.Why I am travelling to USA. 2.For how many days you are travelling. *Ans*: 8 weeks (as mentioned in my invitation letter) and the purpose of travelling . 3. Interviewer felt the period is very long and cross questioned me why such a long period. *Ans* : Repeated the same reason as said above with elaboration. 4. Again cross questioned , the said schedule is only for 4 weeks and what is the schedule for remaining 4 weeks. *Ans*:Repeated the above answer. (May be here i went wrong) 5. Asked about my overall experience,Domain knowledge , took all relevant documents and come back with the rejection form. :-( Now its 9 months passed , so shall I reapply for B1 again? If so , what are the things I need to considered before re-applying? I am still working in the same company (AllState India) , but this time I am suppose to get the invitation letter just for 1 week and in April-2014 my salary also got increased(even my manager mentioned he will change the designation as well in the invitation letter). So is it safe to reapply? OR how can I improve the chances? Your help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Seema
I am an Indian studying in Germany for the past 2 years (from 2007). In 2008, I applied for a B1 visa and got rejected. And the counsellor gave the reason that i am not staying long enough to travel USA. At that time, I have completed 16 months. Now, 2009, again I am applying. And my interview will be on 22nd april. In the last time and this time, I have proper documents for attending the conference. My question is : what they really want to know those who want to travel to USA for 4 days?

Hi all , Today i attended the US B1 visa interview in chennai and unfortunately got rejected .They questions which were asked to me was: 1.Where place you are going? 2.Why you are going? 3.How many years of experience you have ? 3.My annual income? i answered all the questions confidently but i feel that i got rejected because of my years of experience and my income.I'm a fresher and having just 8 months of experience ? Does experience and annual income matter a lot?
