Hi,
I am from Non-IT background(B.E(EEE)). I have 1 year 10
months experience in the current project as well as my
overall IT experience is same.
I have attended interview for L1 Blanket at chennai
consulate.The below are questions i faced in the interview.
1.What is your role in the project?
2.what is your specialization?
3.how many years of exp in XXX company?
4.what's your client name?
5.How many are there working in US?
6.what kind of application are you going to develop?
7.how many years of exp you have in this project?
For all the questions i have answered well.but they rejected
my L1 Blanket Visa.
Please let me know what might be the reason for rejection?
and how long i have to wait for next chance?
Is there any way to get L1 visa.

Dear,
Your case appears to be eligible. But as you might be
aware, issuance of U.S. visa is now very minimal. You have
to present your case as if there is no replacement for the
work you are going to do in the U.s.
You can surely get the reason for your denial if you let me
know how you answered questions 1,2,6 and 7.

If L1 visa got rejected.Is there any time frame required for reapplying it? Once it got rejected,ll it be less chance of getting it again?
HI all i have a total work ex of 4 plus years in some of the top IT companies of india. I have a btech in information technology. I was placed from college in 2006. I did my final year in 2006 but because of ill health was unable to give one paper which i gave in session 2007-2008. Now though my degree gives yr of passing as 2008 my total IT experience is 4 plus years. I need to go to US for project related work and my company is getting my L1 blanket visa stamped. My L1 Blanket petition got rejected stating the Reason - Not clearly approvable. The option that they have selected on the blue form is : Your blanket L-1 application is not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2 (I) (ii) (D ) and INA 101 (a) (15) (L). You may not reapply using the same petition, but may reapply as the beneficiary of an approved individual petition. Can someone suggest me what should be my next approach . What type of visa should i reapply for ?
