well vacancies are 3500 as given in advertisement but actual
intake may be less coz they hav cutt off which must be
cleared to get in...

I attended Interview today.
It was pretty simple! GD topic was on Adverse effects of
Cricket on other sports . Hows that???

In interview I was asked the speciality about my home town.
Questions like Why did I not follow in the footsteps of my
parents,About SBI,my recent job application were asked.

I dont feel anyone needs to prepare for these!
they come naturally to your mind.

Sandhu is right in the regards that 300 or so people hv
been debarred frm giv'n the interviews coz of not fulfill'n
the 'Elig. Criteria'. At my Centre only around 10 people
were ousted coz of diff. reasons.
About 700 Vacancies: it has been increased b'coz of the
seats of Non Assoc. banks involvement. Previously the Non
Assoc. were not able to fill the 750 seats fully so the
non-filled seats hv been included in this time.
People should stop indulging in mak'n ratios or speculat'n
as SBI takes in quality not quantity prev. Example being
NON ASSOC. banks
Required - taken in
750 - 80 or so.
(it's a fact)

A current topic could be Satyam Gotala or new face of
terrorism . Economic meltdown can be another candidate.

In my opinion,
in GD mode of expression and compatibility in a team is
looked for!

So knowledge comes secondary. Those with strong power of
expression will go through.

i have NABARD Assistant managers phase ii exam on 19th july. if anyone has any idea about questions asked in descriptive test in previous years please reply.It will be great help if someone who appeared for such exam shares his experience

Hi, I am Sreenias. I got shortlisted for Syndicate bank PO's post. While applying to this post, I attached the applicant copy of the bank receipt(fee receipt) by mistake.
