C3 plants are plant where the first stable product of the
dark reaction is a three carbon compund ( citric acid).
Most plants are c3 plants. c4 plants have a additional
route of fixing carbon. before the c3 cycle in these plants
there is another cycle where the first stable compund is a
4 carbon compund ( oxalo acetic acid).Essentially all c4
plants have c3 cycle too, but not vice versa. these plants
have a unique anatomy (krantz anatomy), the vasular bundles
of leave have chloroplasts in them. there are many more
difference. c4 example would be amaranth
