Hi Sumit,

My subjectwise expection were as follows -

GS-120+
MATHS-190+
ENG.(Both)-100+

My interview was also goog & I was expecting 70+.

Actually in Maths I was expecting 200/200. Because there
was no space for deducting any single mark.

Hi Gautam,

Yaar tumne CGLM 2008 diya tha kya? How were your arithmetic
and G.K. papers? How many marks are you expecting in these
papers?

Yaar, you were expecting 200/200 in 2006. It means you are
genius no doubt. But how many marks are you expecting in
maths in 2008? please reply ur expected marks so that we may
compare ours.

Dear Ajay,

Actually I was not prepare to give CGLM 2008 only because
of my performance in CGLM 2006. This was my best
performance.

Also, as I am already in Govt. Job in the pay scale of 8000-
13500/-.I was confident that I can get Examiner post which
is my Dream Post.

Thus, Sorry Ajay I can not tell anything about CGLM
2008.But As my information the question Paper of CGLM 2008
was difficult in compare to CGLM 2006.

In fact, if a candidate score 200/200 in a competative
exam, it also hurt to Paper setters of SSC. It may that in
reaction of CGLM 2006, CGLM 2008 would be made extra
difficult.

Yes Gautam you are right. I am a software engineer and I am
having quite strong mathematics concepts. But I found the
maths paper of 2008 quite lengthy and difficult.

I could attempt 14 questions. Out of which 3 questions went
wrong. Two went wrong at the last stage of question and in
one question I was diverted in another direction. So that
question wasted quite precious time. But I am expecting more
than 110 in that paper.

Well lets see what happens when the result is declared.

Dear gautam,
Pls.mention in which deptt?? & under which ministry you are
posted???If you are already in the pay scale of 8000-
13500,which is a group-A,gazetted & the post of examiner
carries 6500-10500,which is non-gazetted posts.........
then why are you opting for a subordinate services??????

If you carefully go through the arithmetic paper of CGLM
2008,then you will find 15 questions was almost easy i..e
Qno:-1,2,3,4,5,7,8,11,12,13,14,15,16,17, & 20 & many
candidates are expecting more than 150+,whereas for my case
I attempted all the questions,out of which 10 was
correct ,for three questions i..e Qno:-1,7,13,I have
wrongly calculate at the last step & for the other two i..e
9 & 10 it was totally wrong.
I don't know there is any step marking or not,if you have
any information pls.let me know.

cut-off marks for examiner was 494,but according to
you ,you are getting about 490,taking 200/200 in paper III.
May be your cal.is wrong

Dear babu,

Currently I am working in the deptt of Administrative
Reform, U.P. Secretariat at lucknow.It is a Gazetted post
but do not have any executive power. I do not like file
work.

As the question of pay scale, it does not matter when you
think about the real exposure of the post of Examiner.

Also I will get the pay protection in next service i.e. my
salary can not be less than that I am currently getting.

Only loss which I will have, the Gazetted Rank, But it is
only for approx. next 10 years.And I think there is no big
benefit to be a Gazetted Officer.

WAISE BHI JO HAME MIL JATA HAI USKA ANAND DHEERE DHEERE
KHATM HO JATA HAI AUR YE MANN PHIR KISI NAYI CHEEZ ME ANAND
DHOONDHNE LAGTA HAI.

Reread my words 120+, ...+,...+,..

I wrote the minimum marks which I was expecting. You easily
understand my view that I wrote 190+ not 200.

Also, you are right it may be wrong or have difference from
result...

Dear gautam,
could you please explain the work power,etc for the posts
of examiner.In CGLM 2008 i have given it as my 3Rd
preference,since i have no knowledge about the posts except
that it is under customs..................

You are wrong ,you are not going to get any kind of pay
protection,because you are a state govt.employee & no one
in central also get any kind of protection other than
deputation basis.
I am a commercial clerk i E.Rly.,so i know it.
