"The second administrative reform commission recommended
that the age limit for all ositions (Grou 'B' non gazetted
and Grou 'C' )- requiring a graduate degree should be 20-25
ears for general cindidates with a relaxation of 3 ears for
OBC and five years for SC and ST and hsicall challenged
candidates"
at resent the age limit is 20-27 ears.if the government
accepts this recomendation there will be a problem for many
so gus dont waste our time in waiting for the result and be
prepered for the mains exam

welllll..... i saw lots n lots of dates.... all were
true.... result was expected to b publish since november
last.... but it delayed....possible reasons are----
- Earlier Income-tax inspector was in GRADE-C, after a
case filed in supereme court it has been finalised to put
it in GROUP-B..... but its not sure that it'll b for 2006's
candidates..... if it'll happen to 2006 candidated... v all
vll get preferences again.....!!!!!
- As far as i know there were 1900-2100 seats..... but in
my knowledge seats hv been increased by 200-300.....
i hv no idea how can people say bout 3500 seats....i dun
think its possible..... it mi8 happen but for CG level 2008.
wish u all the best guys.... v cant b sure bout ssc
decisions n dates.... hope for january.... else see feb....
heheheeeee

Dear friends,
Result will definitely come in this month. SSC is also
under pressure to finalise the results. There might be
some administrative reasons which we donot know. Have
patience and good luck to all.

I have appeared from mumbai zone and expect to get 150 in
maths, 100 in gk and 140 in language i.e. total 390 and 50
in interview so total 440 (approx) in mains. So hope i will
be around the cut off to get myself selected. Above marks
are a neutral assessment of my performance in the various
exams. Friends you may share your marks.
I had expected 53 marks in maths and 72 in gk& reasoning in
prelims 2008 and have got through that.
I am from general category.

I think that we all should discuss our assumed/guessed marks
(neutrally and without being liberal)so that we can atleast
guess about cut-off marks and it is in our hand and stop
guessing about the date of result.Because it is not in our
hands.I am expecting min.155-160 marks in Maths and 120-130
marks in General awareness paper. I am expecting 80-85
marks in English and 55-65 marks in Language compre.
paper. My interview has gone very good and i am expecting
more that 460 marks(overall) for inspector grade. We should
neutrally guess our marks and write on this site.
I know that we will not be able to decide exact cut off
marks but we can atleast get some idea about cut-off marks.
I am from Rajkot(gujarat) and belongs to General Category.
I do think that just discussing and racking our brains on
the no. of vacancies or the date of result will lead us to
nowhere. Because it seems like that it is not only unknown
to us but to SSC staff also.
