P K Pal is right cut-off will be around 420. because most
of the candidates scored below 353 in written and an
average 55 marks for the interview so it will be around
420. and wait for result

dear sonu I not agree with because the cut of asst is 353
for and there are only 1370 candidate available in Asstt.
and the vacancies are around 2400 if all the candidates are
selected who are in the list of asstt in assist and insprs
there is probability for the candidates who have not
secured 353 marks and qualified only in insprs. then the
cut off for the gen candidates will go down. hence the cut
off of the asstt. may be 420-430 and the cut off of the
insp etc may be 390.

PK pal is absolutely right...if there were candidates securing more than 353 then, the no. of candidates selected for Asstt. grade would have been more than 1370.........
cut off for Insp.etc 310 hai aur 3954 candidates selected hain
and cut off for Asstt. 353 hai aur 1370 candidates selected hain
Iska matlab saaf hai ki as the cut off increases from 310 to 353, the no. of candidates decreases from 3954 to 1370. Therefore there are about 2584 candidates whose marks are between 310 and 353........
if we assume about 60 avg marks in interview....
the cut off for top 1370 candidates is 353+60="413"
Iska logical meaning hai ki final cut off 413 se above ja hi nahi sakti.
this is only for the top 1370 candidates and with 2400 vacancies available the cut off may be about 380-390........

Give a deep thought in this logic and then rethink about the cut offs which many think will go to about 490+

Anybody please help me about the physical standards of
Inspector (CE). What is the minimum measurement of chest is
required for the post? Is it 81 cm without expansion and 86

hello friends this is vinod i noticed one thing if any of
you agree or disagree with me then pls react.
last time the final result was on 14th december so many of
those who have applied in 2006 exam must have been selected
and at that time our mains return was over so that means
those who have been been selected in 2005 exam they didnot
give the interview of 2006 so that increases the chance of
ours as all of them will be called for the interview but
didn't appeared in the interview as they were selected in
2005 and mind it they were tough competeter also i hope the
number of those candidate exceeds 500.what do you all say

but ssc enquiry told me the result will be declared in last
week of january .

Actually the main problem is SSC staff ....They don't know
when SSC result is coming out .The confusion is build up by
only SSC staff .Next month if you called ...they assure you
that RESULT WILL COME OUT NEXT MONTH FOR SURE .I am calling
in SSC office from last 5 months .....Every month they
assured me that result will come next month .

Even i am not sure about the results date .I am also
confused like other peoples here .
