dynamics of machines, role of friction,
different power devices and power transmission equipments,
Application of Cams in Machines
and Engines.
4. Hydraulic Machinery: (a) Hydraulics -- Fluids and their
properties, Fluid pressure and its
measurement, Fluid-flow and its measurement etc.
(b)Hydraulic Machines -Impact of jet, Water-Trubines,
Centrifugal pumps, Reciprocating pumps,
Positive Displacement pumps, Hydrostatic Machines,
Hydraulic-Control Circuit.
