How can u cut a big piece of cake into eight(8) pieces with only three cuts using a knife...

Answer / jeevan

Cake is never cut in such a way.

Wat we can do is.

1st cut should be cutting the Cake into two Halfs

Now put one half on top of other. Then again cutting it like
we made the 1st cut.

so now 4 parts. Two on top two on below.

Now Cut the cake in the orthogonal direction than the
earlier two cuts.

The trick was only That u can put one half on top of other.

Tats it.

How can u cut a big piece of cake into eight(8) pieces with only three cuts using a knife...

Answer / shelly

Cut the cake ( doesnt matter what shape it is) this way:

1) first cut half
2) second cut perpendicular to first cut, just cut like a
cross(i.e , the plus or add sign in maths)
3) Since all cakes have thickness, we can cut it through
middle, horizontally

This way we get four pieces above and four pieces below
making it eight pieces.
