Answer / karthik
just hang the rope in top of the building, get down by
holding the two side of the ropes simultaneously, at 25
meter just tie any side of the rope and hold rope tightly at
the tied end.
now pull the other side you will get the 75 meter long rope
from 25meter down of the building. Then it is easy to get
down, without cut the rope
we can use the rope for some other purpose
how is it

well... since the width(thickness) of the rope is not
given..,we can divide the rope vertically... that means we
have 75+75=150mt long rope... and then you can easily get
down... what do you say?

Steps:
1. Cut the rope into two parts, 50 mts and 25mts
2. Tie the 25 mts at the top of the building and hold the
other part with you.
3. Using the tied 25mts rope descend.
4. After reaching the other end, tie that end.
5. Now ascend to the top of the buiding using the same 25mts
rope and untie it. you will now fall from there to 50 mts
(remember the thread is tied at 25 mts)
6. Use the remaining 50 mts rope left with you to descend
completely

the interviewer is just testing the way you think, he wants
u to c things differently, so just cut the rope vertically
and make two ropes, inadequate information can always be
assumed.

He cuts the rope in 50 mt and 25 mt.He said that the rope
can be tied at any point of the building, so he 1st ties at
the top (50 m), he descends about 1/2 a meter (about his arm
length ) ties another (25 m) rope there unties the 50 m rope
(he can do it since the distance is not much)descends on 25
m rope does the same technique and he does it till the end
...solved!!!

He cuts 25m of rope, and ties one end to the top. Makes a loop in the other end. Then he treads the 50m rope through the loop. He climbes 25m down, and 25m down on the double rope.
Then he takes the 50m rope and ties it to the house wall somewhere. Then he can climb down the remainding 50m.
Life is easy..... :-)

Answer / ashish o.o
.cut the rope into 2..... such tat each half = 75/2m long
.now connect the ends of each half forming two loops(each
approx 75/4m long)....
.attach the end of 1 loop 2 the top of the building &descend
.just b4 reaching the end of tat loop....attach the 2nd loop
2 the buildind & shift the support to this loop
.now cut the 1st loop & pull one end till the enitre rope
comes 2 u.... repeat the process
since each loop is 75/4 m long it will take 16/3(5 approx)
repitions 2 travel 100m...
