I wrote the group 1 exam too, and I think the cut off will
be in the range of 73 to 78 . The paper was moderate in
difficulty level. Last group 1 ( 2003) cut off was 67.
This year 10000 students will be selected for mains as
against 30000 students for mains in 2003.

The Prelims Paper Was Easy. Infact the prelims paper of
Group 1 held last time was difficult than this paper. I have
a friend who is working as Section Officer in APPSC, as per
the confidential information the cut off will be 85-90. This
depends on the difficulty of the paper, number of posts and
number of candidates.

So the cut off is 85-90

the question is "the 'LAND OF THOUSAND LAKES' is in ...
so its CANADA. There is no area knows called land of
thousand lakes in FINLAND . hope u understood @ SAM

hi Any body can tell what is the cut off mark in todays
results. As 90 marks from RC Reddy Key also could not got
thorugh.
So what was the cut off?

This is KIRAN S S...
One thing my dear friends in this time we did't expect
exactly cut off marks.. Why bcoz up to now software demand
was reduced gradually.. Yesterday was happened one thing.
Mostly all of them aware of the SATYAM companey.. No body
did't expect that type of result.. where as all
the "satymaites" come under these posts.. Thats why In
this time we face more compition..
All the best... This rite time to get a job....

actually da key is wrong and even in one question dat
vijayanagar empire main rivals are bahamani sultans dat too
given wrong in da sakshi key.

and also there is a confusion abt Land of thousand lake
sakshi key showing it as canada. but on net itz showing
finland i am totally confused just watch this link here the

Hello all,
The good news is I got through Group I prelims and now its
going to be an uphill battle. All the best for all those
who got through and for those who couldnt all the best for
Group II. The ones who couldnt get through now, please dont
lose hope as I have just heard that there will be a fresh
notification again for Group I & Group II in the coming
months, so hope you all start preparing from now on. Good
