most of my friends told me cutoff marks may be in between 75-80.

Hi Friends,
by the way things are looking there is so much confusion
with regards to the cut off marks, exam key and main exams.
It is so ridiculous that APPSC doesnt even bother to give
us the correct key to help aspiring students who want to
prepare seriously for the mains. Another silly thing is the
key given out by two publications viz...Sakshi and Vijetha,
it is so appalling that the key's given out by these two
has added much more further confusion as both of the keys
have conflicting answers. I'm forced to say that these keys
must have been done by dumbheads who dont even know the
correct answers for some questions. For example Sakshi
says "Ghatikas were Hindu schools" and Vijetha
says "Ghatikas were Buddhist schools", likewise, "Sakshi
says "Land of Thousand lakes is Canada" and vijetha says it
is Finland and i'm sure in both the answers vijetha is
correct but if we observe Vijetha's Mental Ability, I think
they have given some incorrect answers which may or may not
be correct. So living with this confusion I'm not even
motivated and encouraged to study, hence waiting for the
results to come. Anybody can predict the cut off marks but
what APPSC decides is what is going to write the fates of
many aspiring students.If i follow Sakshi's key my marks
are somewhere @80 - 85, and if I follow Vijetha I'm getting
@75-80. So there is a lot of confusion at the moment. So by
the expected cutoff marks do we really think that we can
qualify, as I think and I'm sure there would be at least
10000 candidates out of 70% attendance i.e 1,40,000
candidates who must have scored more than 90 which I think
would be the cutoff marks, but speaking to about 20
students the prediction is it may be @ 75-85. So, not sure
what to beleive, whether my gut feeling of 80 marks or
assumed talent of others with 90 marks.... Fingers crossed

This time cut off marx will be 70.so guyz n galz those who
secured 70 marks prepare for Mains

Hi All,
I do agree with Shyam's answer. But the thing is we need to
concentrate on lot more things that these trivial matters,
if it comes to mains.As of my conscience, it is not less
than 80. I never go through the keys. Infact I am out of
reach to the keys. But my suggestion is to get all the
answers from the internet, not with discussing anyone. This
will certainly kills our morale, if any adverse news we
heard.
Last but not the least suggestion of mine is you guys have
to concentrate on mains irrespective of the marks in the
prelims. You didn't find time if it really matters to you
once the result is on. So make sure not to loose the time
for the time sake. If it's not, then we are the luckiest
person, not to pursue anymore. Go to our routine is the
final buzzword in all

ticket u dont know ht no dont worry. r u selected mains
intimate seperately through appsc by post. so dont worry

In my and my collegues who appred for the Group-1 prelims
exam held on 20.04.2008 will be revered if the cut off mark
is 60.and must not execeed 62.
The very reason is that only objective pattern of
selection is having its own impediments. This is not only
the standareds to set the student knowlwdge and his wisdom.
if the cutoff mark will set to 60 we can easily know the
student performence in the main exam and in the interveiw
we can easily assess the ABILITY ofstudent only with written
(conventional type) and in interview much than prelims.

can a final year who can pass out on 2010 can right group 1 exam
Hi, I have submitted group 1 chalan on 18-08-2009 and paid the fee in SBI on the same day. On 19-08-2009, after entering refernce no, journal no, date of birth, date of payment and uploading the photo with signature, when I click "upload" button, I get the error saying that the journal no is wrong. But i have verified it with SBI again. The number is correct. Can anyone please tell me what has to be done. Kindly help me.

what will be the cutoff of group 1 mains 2012
hi, I am planning to attempt the group-1 exam this time. Could you please clarify my doubts, 1. I have read in the syllabus that there will a screening test, which will decide the entrance to the prelims. If so when this exam will happen and with in how many days will get the results?. So that can attempt the other papers. 2. After this, has all the 6 papers (grp-1 prelims) will be conducted in the same day or how will it be? Thank you so much in Advance!
