How does US visa officer verify the educational
certificates at the time of visa interview. Do they
actually cross check anything.

mostly the interview is 2 min, so they dont have time to check but if they have doughty then they will say that your document is duplicate, and some time they hold your visa and they check your doc,(if officer have doughty in your bank pass book they contact to bank manager and conform it.

Yes. Before going to the visa interview the transcripts
(mark sheets)you have submitted to the university or the
school either directly or through the agency. The
university will send those documents to the credential
service of america they will cross check and evaluate your
gpa and send then thwy will send the copy to the visa
interviewer before you are going to the interview. So pls
dont fake in your transcripts

I have question regarding appointment. My classes are going to start in 14 jan 2008 and my orientation according to I-20 is scheduled on 4 january 2008. I was not able to get early appointment than 4 january. I am just confused at this point should i go to interview or should wait for next semester? Will US consular able to issue me via coz according to my i-20 I should report to college no later tha 4 jan. I have been refused for visa last month. I am re applying with some new evidences but now I am not able to get appointment earlier than 4 jan. Please suggest me I should go to interview appointment? Will it work if i got any kind of date extension letter from college?

hello everyone.i have been rejected thrice for in ma interview last year in da month of december,,n m again planning to apply for august 2011.last tym i had appliedto da university of central oklahoma,,its cost was $16000 after getting $2000.i had shown property of abt may b nepali 7 crore,n had bank blc of 40 lakhs n hav monthly income of abt 35 lakhs,all documents r original,,ma a levl grades maths-E, chemistry-E n general paper-b..dey rejected me once telling i had no intention of studyn,,,next property not enough,,n last tym also,da same,,,wat m i to do,,,is it bkoz of ma grades or property or wat,,any commenst plzz,,m dying over here,,like hell

hello guys .... i got my i20 from pittsburg state uni. and troy uni. but i have no gre only ilets. my ilets score is 6. i complete my b.tech with 71% and 12th with 66% and 10th with 76%. now i have no time for the preparation of gre. my interview will be in may end. pls tell me guys will there any chance to get visa... pls reply on dpreet12@yahoo.com
