It is obtainig from dividing the total capital of a company
into no of units
Dividends are paid out of the profits these are unlike the
intrest share holders are getting dividends rather than
intrest these are normally 6 months or 3 months or yearly
DPS = TOTAL DIVIDENDS PAID/ NUMBER OF SHARES ISSUE
