Interview question with US Consulate in Chennai.
Next week I have appointment and my family is not going
along as I didn't apply for passport till now for wife and
child. Can someone help me how to deal with scenario as it
is likely to come up during discussion with consulate
there. Thanks

Hi, I've scheduled my H1B Interview on Sep-18 in chennai.I've 3.5 yrs experience in software testing. I don't know much about the project am going to work in US. Could anyone suggest what should i say for the following questions Q1: What is your responsibility in the US Company? Q2: Why you want to work in US? hai i am suthahar my h1b interview date is(oct16-2008) ,i am a software enginner from coimbatore, i have complted MCA My current company experience 1.8 years I have completed BSC(2001-2004) my college time is 6-1(BSC) Remaing(2-10) i had worked as technical support enginner from csc computer center( 3 years ) ,pudukkottai I had fill application for currenct company experience ==>1.8 years previes company experience ==>3 years how to explain about my experience? and this is part time or full time (I haveoffer leter and experience leter,photos also)
My husband had to go to Switzerland for work for a week,and also get his H1b Stamping from there. Now the consulate there said it would take 3 weeks to process, do you think it would create a problem. They have also asked for his resume???? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE suggest....he's not stuck cos cant enter US...shuld he go back to india or stay in switzerland to process it???

I was working inthe US on OPT and came to India to have my H1B stamped . I had been for my H1B visa interview last week feb 4th and was asked the following question. 1. What is your latest degree? 2. How many employees are working in your company? Me: around 30 3. Are all of them from India? Me: most of them she issued me 221(g) and asked me for the following documents: 1. Petitioner's Federal income tax return past 3yrs 2. Petitioner's State unemployment wage reports for past 3 years 3.List of petitioner's employees at your job site including names, titles , salaries and immigration status. I was wondering what are they trying to determine by determing how many employees are from India and are there chances of refusal if they find out 10 out of 30 are on H1

Hi, My petition for H1B has been approved. There is a problem though. In my passport my name has been mentioned as VATSA TANGA. But in all my certificates and educational documents my name is mentioned as SRI VATSA TANGA. On asking the person responsible for visa process in my company, he said that I should not go for a change in the passport name, because the petition was approved on the basis of the name mentioned in the passport ie.VATSA TANGA. Please tell me what should I do now. Should I get a document from a notary saying that VATSA TANGA and SRI VATSA TANGA is the same person? Please suggest.
