hi nani
my doubt is how does qtp process metrix related to software
process.
Answer / Rajesh Tejan
QTP collects metrics related to the software testing process in various ways. Some of the key performance indicators (KPIs) that QTP provides are:
1. Execution Time: The total time taken by a test case or a test suite to execute.
2. Pass/Fail Rate: The percentage of tests that passed or failed during a test run.
3. Test Case Coverage: The percentage of test cases executed compared to the total number of test cases available.
4. Defect Density: The number of defects found per unit of code or per test case.
5. Failure Rate: The percentage of test steps that failed during a test run.
6. Retest Pass/Fail Rate: The percentage of defects that were retested and passed or failed again.
7. Test Suite Execution Time: The total time taken by all the test suites to execute.
