How to detect apoptosis?
Answer / Nisha Rani
Apoptosis can be detected using several methods, including flow cytometry and immunocytostaining. In flow cytometry, propidium iodide or Annexin V staining can be used to identify apoptotic cells based on the externalization of phosphatidylserine. For immunocytostaining, antibodies against cleaved caspase-3 or other apoptosis markers can be used.
