what is a usecase?..

Answer / sudhakar

Use cases define how the system or application works.

Use cases are created very early in the development cycle.

The use case is made up of a set of possible sequences of
interactions between systems and users in a particular
environment and related to a particular goal.

Each use case provides one or more scenarios that convey
how the Actor (User) will interact with the System to
achieve a specific business goal or function

Use cases are often written by business analysts and end
users.

Using use cases we can eventually write highly detailed and
exhaustive test cases
