Sanity testing is to quickly evaluate the software or any
kind of a product. With out knowing every one in this world
does that before buying any product. For doing sanity
testing for a telephone will be:
1. Can you receive a phone call.
2. Does the voice from the counter part is clear and loud
enough.
3. Does the phone properly disconnect the call when
disconnected?
4. Were you able to dial all numbers in the phone?
5. Were you able to do a call from this phone?
Note: these are purely telephone sanity so, underlining
connectivity is expected to be abstract. :)

sanity testing ,in which test eng conducts or performs
overall testing( but not deatiled testing) on the released
build inorder to confirm that whether the build is proper
or not ,just before going to the detailed testing.
usually tester checks the following.
1.whether the bulid can be installed into our environment
or not.
If the build can be insatlled into our environment , then
onlywe can conduct the overall testing otherwise we can
not conduct overall testing.
2.whether we can navigate to all the pages of the
application .
If we navigate to all pages of the application,, then only
we can conduct the overall testing otherwise we can not
conduct overall testing.
3.whether all the imporatnt features r avilable on the appl
or not.
If all the imporatnt features r avilable on the appl ,
then only we can conduct the overall testing otherwise we

4.whether all the required connections r established or not.
If all the all the required connections r established, then
only we can conduct the overall testing otherwise we can
not conduct overall testing.

a) Sanitary testing is nothing but the build is stable
or not complete to testing is called sanitary testing.
b) Sanitary testing is also known as testers
acceptation testing (TAT), or builds verification testing
(BVT).
c) Now check the lock and fell, that telephone have
the connection or not, if connection have that is which
type, all numbers are work or not, that size, this type of
all testing apply the telephone.
