we conduct testing on web, under customer expected
configuration to the maximum till where the application
loses the capacity of load is LOAD TESTING

we conduct testing on low to peak level of configuration by
giving load is STRESS TESTING

VOLUME TESTING is nothing but checking the storage of
records/data to which maximum level the application can
store the data.

Load Testing:Tester to test the customer expected
configuration and customer expected load and to estimate
the speed in process or performance is called as "load
testing".



Stress testing: tester testing the software application foe
customer expectation configuration and more than customer
expected load and to estimate the peak load is called
"stress testing".


volume testing: tester test the maximum capacity of our
software build to store the user related data or not is
called "volume testing".

I know functional test cases are derived from frs and system design specs. But are test cases for performance, database, boundary, relational integrity and other types of tests other than functional tests created from frs and system design specs as well? When are these test cases created? Are they in the same test plans alongside functional test cases or is their a different test plan that includes these test cases?
