Describe the 4 p’s in software project management.
Answer / Ravita Rani
The 4 P's in software project management are Product, Process, People, and Project Management Triangle. They represent important aspects to consider during the development of a software project:
1. Product: Refers to the software product being developed, including its functional and non-functional requirements.
2. Process: Encompasses the steps taken throughout the entire lifecycle of the software project, from planning and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
3. People: Involves managing the team members working on the project, considering their roles, skills, and motivation to ensure a successful outcome.
4. Project Management Triangle (also known as the Iron Triangle or Project Management Triad): Represents the interrelationship between scope (what needs to be done), time (when it needs to be done), and budget (how much it can cost) for a given project.
