What are the archenteron and the blastopore? What is the stage of the embryonic development in which..

Answer / Rishitosh Tyagi

The archenteron is an internal cavity that forms during gastrulation, originating from the invagination of the blastopore. The blastopore is a transient opening on the surface of the embryo through which cells migrate during gastrulation. The stage at which these structures are formed is during gastrulation. The archenteron eventually gives rise to the digestive tract, and the blastopore closes, leaving behind an opening called the neural canal, which develops into the central nervous system.
