ALPHA TESTING:-> Here the users are invited at development centre where they use the application & developers note every particular action or input carried out by user. any type of abnormal behaviour of system is noted & rectified by developers.

BETA TESTING:-> when customer receives the product, the software or product is distributed as BETA VERSION to limited users.they test the application of real business using the software for particular period of time.As the user explore the software, in case if any exception reported to the customer via document.Now the customer gathers all reports from various end users & request for enhancement or bug to b fixed by developers.

alpha testing is conducted by real customer, this test is
done in the development site, in this test involved few
developers, few testers,and some ofcustomer site people,
this test is suitble for applications.

beta testing is conducted by model customer, this test is
done in the customer site, suitble for products.
