Kharif Season :

This cropping season starts with the on-set of South-West
monsoon and runs along with it till October. This is the
main and substantial cropping season in most of the
districts. The state receives 72% of the annual rainfall
through South-West monsoon. Most of the rainfed, Tankfed and
canal fed areas are cropped during this season.
