Explanation: Prior to the 44th Amendment Act, Right to Acquisition of property was a fundamental right and there were many amendments made to this Article viz., Art. 31. But 44th Amendment withdrew the Right to Property as a Fundamental Right. Now right to property exists only as a 'legal right' and the writs provided in Art. 32 (Constitutional Remedies) cannot be invoked with respect to Right to Property
