Energy is provided to human body through the foods a man
takes in. proteins, mineral salts, water, fats and
carboprotein, fat or carbohydrates. The food we take
contains all these substances in varying degrees of
quantity. Various foods have been analysed by chemists and
it has been established that these essentials are obtainable
in definite proportions in them. These essential
constituents which are present in our articles of food are
known as nutritive constituents. Every article of food has
been analysed in laboratories and their contents have any
carbohydrates. Rice, dal, almonds and milk contain all the
nutritive constituents.

depends on various parameters like, age, gender, working
procedure and body surface area..etc..
major contituents of food is chorbohydrates, proteins,
fats. vitamines and minerals.
