the ages of two brothers are now in the ratio 4:3 but fifteen years ago, they were in the ratio 3:2t..

Answer / Mr Siddharth Mishra

Let the present ages be 4x and 3x respectively. Fifteen years ago, their ages were in the ratio 3:2, so let those ages be 3(x-15) and 2(x-15) respectively. Since the ratios are equal, we have 4x / 3x = 3(x - 15) / 2(x - 15), which simplifies to x = 30. So, the present ages of the brothers are 4 * 30 = 120 years and 3 * 30 = 90 years.
