test approach test the two features and remaining features do regression testing and check whether any regression bugs are introduced or not

i agree with my friend that regression testing is required whenever there is any change in the software but if the two new features are related to a particular module then that module should be tested and all other modules which interact with the changed module needs to be tested.This approach is only to minimize the time and cost.But if we are using automation testing for regression then that is the best approach.
