Your M.Sc degree in Biochemistry from India is recognized in the UK, so you are eligible to work in a laboratory in the UK. However, it's important to note that every employer has their own hiring criteria and some might prefer candidates with specific qualifications or experience. It's advisable to apply for jobs directly and highlight your relevant experience in quality assurance. You can also consider registering with professional bodies such as the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) to demonstrate your commitment to the field and boost your employability.
