Describe one algorithm for image segmentation?
Answer / Prashant Pandey
One popular image segmentation algorithm is the k-means clustering algorithm. It works by iteratively dividing an input image into K clusters, where each pixel belongs to the cluster with the nearest mean vector. The means are updated after each iteration to better represent the data within their respective clusters. This process continues until convergence or a specified number of iterations is reached. K-means clustering can be used for various applications such as image compression, object recognition, and image retrieval.
