Application types are:
1.Web Application
2.Online banking site
3.Corporate Intranet Site
4.Desk Top Application....etc
Security is key element in all types applications.

when you logout of gmail and click on back it should not go
to inbox page
when you enter password and try to copy and paste it on the
notepad it should not copy and paste

well in security testing we check 3 issues
1.Authentication testing: to check nly valid users can log
into da application...
2.URL testing: by giving da url of secured pages witout
logging in the application should restrict the user.
3.Firewall leakage: Here we enter into da application as one
level of user n try to explore beyond da user rits to see if
da firewall is protecting or not..
