yes , go to inventory -> item->delete item->select
invent.Org.->Create Group -> Add item in Details section ->
click on delete Group Button,

pre-requisites :-
1)item created but not transacted (i.e material transaction
not done)
2)no onhand
3)no salse order

Go to Inventory -> Item -> Delete Item -> Select Inventory
org -> Create Group -> Add item in Details section -> click
on delete Group Button,

It not recommended to delete Item any item, better
Inactivate Item
