hello me shavi..today was my interview regarding f1 visa for
MS in IT....BUT i got rejection..The VO asked me..how many
university have u applied to?? i said one that is concordia
university wisconsin..den she said why u have not applied
more than one univ.i replied...i attended a seminar that was
organized by concordia univ in our city..where i submited
all my documents,den they approved my addmisson nd gave me
conformation letter,,,so den i didnot feel any need to apply
for another univ....then VO asked......a long lec..nd in the
end she said...u r not a serious student.....now tell me wt
shud i do..if i apply again for interview nd wannna to apply
in more than 2 univ..den wt costs i have to bear......i also
have not given any TOEFL nd IELTS coz dese r not required
for concordia univ...suggest me wt to do now if i apply
again for interview...

It is really unfortunate that you did not get the F1. I
suppose you still have time to apply again.Meanwhile you can
find out more about the CU getting more information about
your course and specialization. And get more information
about other universities as well. And describe why you
choose to apply only at CU rather than other describing in
depth contrast to VO. You could also mention that you
prepared for the gre/toefl but did not take it as it was not
mandatory for admission.

i have taken 6 1/2 yrs to complete my Bachelors in mechanical engineering with 56.5 % and 31 backlogs. GRE score of 1150 and TOEFL 100. I have sound knowledge though in mechanical design and CAD concepts which i plan to do MS in..?? Do i have any chance ti get an F1..? What would the V.O ask me..?? I have done my B tech in civil engineering in 2005 and since then i m working in same profession as a designer as well as project manager.i wanted to go for higher studies in between but my finances did not allow me.SO now i Got admission from NDSU ,Fargo. Got my i-20 also. They did not require GRE but i gave and got less marks.I don't want to show Marks as its very less marks and can be negative effect....can I go without GRE marks..? Also for I-20, i showed 70% my finances and 30 percent my friend who is working in USA has shown as a sponsor...but now i have arranged the money from bank as a education loan.so will they accept that..?if not what document i have to show of my sponsor.

Hi, i have done a post graduate course i.e MCA and applying for MS in information system at universities in USA. As i have done masters some univ waive my GRE, even though i have given GRE for which my score was low 630.
