Is Quality centre(QC) is bug(Defect) tracking tool..

QC is test management tool
it is not just defect tracking tool
we can store requirment and test cases in it .
and bug are reported using this tool .
defects are traced abck to test cases which in turn are
traced back to requrments .
and we can even generate reports using the QC

and the QC is also used to connect to funtional testing
toll like QTP and execute the test scipts automatically
