In a web application one page is getting open in server & if
i tries to open the same page in the local
system,application is throwing page not found error. what
are all the possible scenarios? Please let me know the
scenarios

One reason for this could be the URL with which the
application is invoking is wrong, may be the application
name specified in the URL is not correct or is not
configured for the port. Even network connections could also
be problem for this.
