I wish to do my graduate studies in one of the us
universities in the field of computer science starting Fall
2010 and am waiting admission information from 1-2 univs.
Two years back, I had attempted for H1-B visa which was put
on hold. Subsequently since I got a good job in India, I
did not pursue H1-B visa. Now I wish to continue with my
studies after getting some job experience. My problem What
shoudl I write in the DS-160 column asking: Whether you had
applied for US visa earlier, if so what is the result.
Whether I should write: applied for H1-B visa but put on
hold or applied for H1-B visa, denied.
Whether this will come in the way of my securing F-1 visa
now? If, what type of answer I should preferably give
during the interview?

I have my Visa Interview on June5th... My dad is retired... My I20 amount is $20,000 and I am showing the assets as $66000 and $30000 Land. Will that be enough as my dad is retired?? What should be my answer if the VO asks Ur dad is retired then what will be his source of income?

Hi i was rejected for F-1 visa at Chennai consulate on 9th of July 2008, i hope, i was rejected in the case of my backlogs, they are 13, and now am planning to take the visa interview again, so what would be my answer if they ask me " why u have been rejected for the first time "? and " Why these many backlogs" ? Hi This is Karthik, recently i attended the f1 visa interview with toefl 109. They suspected me as i was not written toefl. May be it is right. and they took my passport and Toefl score card. Hie frnds If I said to VO that My brother had done MS in US and he is now planning to pursue phd If at all VO asks r u going to US to meet ur family members and mingle with them In my view if I tell that "Sir my main aim is to pursue my ms and there will be no matter for me that there is any relation is there or not in US I am going only to complete my MS" Is this answer is right r not If not what I have to say If there are any corrections then plzz tell me
