has anybody got selected in tax assistant exam 2009???? i
have cheked almost 15-20 roll no.s along with mine none has
been selected how can this be possible?

Hi,
Actually the minimum passing marks to qualify for the
skill test is very high this year. (UR - 206,SC - 180,ST -
172, OBC - 198). Thats y the competition is very tough this
yr. But I know some people who qualified in Tax Assistant
Exam 2009.........
The 1st paper was a qualifying nature and every one should
have to obtained minimum (115 -120 marks)in it.
The 2nd paper of only those candidates who qualified in 1st
paper, was evaluated........

Dear Satish what will be the final cut-off marks bcz i have
been selected for the skill test???
also pls guide me regarding the skill test bcz it is a hard
nut for me to crack it.....earlier i had failed in the
skill test of Data Entry Operator Exam 2009.....so kindly
suggest me some way for rapid typing????

Dear Prem,
Congrats for the success and tells us how
you prepare for the exams, specially the arithmetic portion
and in avergae how many questions are require to be
corrected in arithmetic in 2 hours. Kindly suggest some
books also.

Hi Friends,
This time its hard to guess the minimum expeted
merit for the final selection in Tax Assistant Exam 2009.
It can be, for UR(215-20), SC-(190-195).
And Prem, try to manage software of typing test and
practice at least 1 hour everyday. U can download some
useful typing tutor softwares from some websites for free.
And one more thing, I m also selected for the skill test
and busy in preparing for skill test.

9852133690.....my skill test is on 6th March in Kolkata.
Now Mahesh there is no any specific preparations which I
did for this perticular Exam....actually I have been
preaparing for SSC Combined Graduate Level and was also
successful in 2008, recently appeared in its
interview....so the preparations which I had been doing for
that exam actually helped me a lot to compete for this exam
in an easier way....You would be surprised to know that my
strongest point is arithmetic portion.....I have solved 87
absolutely correct questions in this exam (Tax-09)...since
there is an urgency to solve these problems in a limited
period of time,I mainly rely on quicker mathematics by
R.S.Sanger & apart from that I solve the practice set of
Combined Graduate Level Preliminary Text which comes under
the lebel of many publications but I prefer the Kiran
Publication...Just fix the time of 2hrs. and solve the
practice set and sort out your weak points ....u will
certainly excel....for any sort of suggestions I welcome u

in cgl 2014 i gave my academic details as masters but now i have given only graduation details because i don't want to want to this on masters basis there is some problem..so is there any problem if i give cgl on graduation.Is there to need same qualification same year ,can we change on our choice?
