as per my analysis last year when paper was descriptive cut
off for obc was 297/600.and last time pre cut off was aprox
90/200
but this time it was 102 and last time vacancies are 2500 but
this time it is aprox 5000 and so as per my analysis cut off
for obc will be around 325-340 because this time paper was
objective but vacancies are also doubled thats why cut off
will be not very high
so as per my analysis it will be around 325-340

Cut off for OBC Category will not be more than arount 361-
365 for qualifying for Int. and for other posts like T.A. ,
UDC and other non interview posts it may be lower . Out of
600 (Tier I and Tier II)

I am from exserviceman category for which Tier cut off list
was 85/200, now I have score 90/200 in maths and 160/200 in
english (total 250/400) I would like to know if I should
prepare for interview or not.

To all my dear aspirants the cutoff for CGLE-2010 will
all depend upon total no. of vacancies. It may be 70% if
vacancies are only 1000 or may fall to 55% to 60% if
vacancies are around 5000. So pray for good number of
vacancies so every body get some decent job. The good news
is that I have read in a newspaper that tax department
immediately needs 4,000 officers (including 2,000 assessing
officers), 4,000 inspectors, 12,000 tax assistants, data
entry operators and other support staff, and about 2,000 as
reserves for revenue collection and delivery of tax payer
services. So hope for the best.

I am selected as TA(CBDT) in Gujarat,appeared Exam from SSC ER (CGL-2011).Now SSC WR publish a list of nomination list in which against my name it is showing that Dossier not received from SSC ER.I contacted SSC ER regarding dispatching of my Dossier,they confirmed that it has been dispatched long back,they have also shown me the file copy.Now SSC WR is not responding any of my queries either by mail or by post because other than mailing I posted my query by post also.In this context I would like to know that what shall I do, as it is a matter of worry,moreover will there be any type of compensation for the delay by SSC as the candidates who took Exams with me have already got appointment letter whereas I have not received,by such I am devoid of my monthly salary as well as I am losing my seniority also.Is it a regular affair.I am very much worried.Plz help
