Multimedia basically consider as more then one media like
sound / video / text media etc. to test multimedia in
mobile application for example if we are testing an
application which is based on data streaming for eg. we are
viewing online TV on mobile with the help of GPRS
connectivity then we need to check

1) whether the video and audio syncronisation works
properly or not.
2) if there is some karaoke application then the karaoke
text should get highlited with its audio syncronously or
not.
3) If we are testing some video application and if the file
get stream from server then its loading animation should be
display while buffering occurs.

These are few examples thats comes under multimedia mobile
application testing .

We can do multimedia testing with many paths... Like in
camera mode, we can receive a call or alert..

These are the some paths by whch we can do multimedia
testing--

1.During music player,Receive a B>T> request

2.A song which are in memory card.. During playing insert
or remove memory card..

3.During a call, Create a MMS and then select review &
duing preview End call frm otherside..

I m not sure abt it.. But we can test by following this

Multimedia testing on android devices:
Simple Example:
1. Receiving data from other device through Bluetooth answering the incoming call.
2. Downloading the files from play store answering the incoming call
3. Downloading the files from play store and saving file to ext storage + video recording and saving file to ext storage.

Complex Example:
1. Transferring huge external card data to other device (minimize window) + Playing music file from external storage (minimize window) + downloading big size game from play store to external storage (minimize window) + answering call / answering video call ;). it is only we can perform on higher end android devices to test functionality + load + temperature variation
