Your friend there may have to prepare the sponsor documents for
you. She has to show that she can accommodate you when you
are there. And she may has to show
1) I-139
2) bank account balance
3) letter from bank
4) her invitation letter to you
5) personal letter to consular
6) Proof of US citizenship
7) payrolls, tax returns,..
You should check them on immihelp.com. Good luck!

Which place you will visit in USA?
My friend in Nevada want me to visit him. He tried filing an affidavit of support at the Immigration and Naturalization Service there but the officer told him that I should be the one to process my visitor visa application with my own documents. Does it mean Affidavit of support or invitation letter is not a requirement for applying a Visitor Visa coming from the Philippines? and will the bank deposit of $1,100.00 enough for my 3 days stay in the USA because my friend will be responsible for all of my expenses including the airfare? Thanks for the answers.
hi.. Am Deepthi and am 23 yrs old.I finished my graduation just 3 months back. I got my admission in a Business school.I have two months break before my school starts. Becoz frankly i will surely come back as i should join my school after two months. Am going to show my MBA admission letter as my ties to INDIA. Please advice me about what should i say when they ask me "WHY DO YOU WANT TO GO TO USA?".. Last time they asked me the same question. I said i want to meet my brother who is staying in US and so am going there... but i guess the officer was not convinced with my answer..
